En bil med 7,4 kW drar sina 32 A på en fas genom kabeln, och en bil med 3,7 kW nöjer sig med 16 A. Bilen laddar bara från en fas, så laddboxen sätter takten. De flesta laddboxar på 11 kW ger 16 A per fas, och då laddar alla versioner med 3,7 kW.
