Installationen av laddboxen ger rätt till skattereduktion för grön teknik, 50 procent av arbets- och materialkostnaden, med ett tak på 50\u0026nbsp;000 kronor per person och år. Många laddboxar i villor lastbalanseras mot huvudsäkringen, så att effekten sänks när spisen eller värmepumpen går. Backar du in, sitter porten på motsatt sida och långt från väggen, och då ska du räkna med 10 meter; lika mycket behövs när U6 står framlänges bakom en annan bil. Om den i stället står backad bakom den andra bilen, behövs 15 meter. Sitter laddboxen på ett annat ställe, ger mätmetoden nedan längden: För sträckor upp till 5½ meter räcker 8 meter kabel. Är laddboxen monterad på garagets bortre vägg, mäter du längs väggen och inte snett över golvet.
